it reminds me of medevil times.I know there is a lot of injustice in there but life is bitch ain't it.

Thank you for the compliment. as for my answer to your question The mother is hiding simply because shes weak and giving up anything that is valuable to her. it has a harsh reality ..I know.
but If im ever going to recreate this piece I will have the mother be a tougher than what she is in this piece. I like to have some hope somewhere in there..
