I called it Matte painting cuz that's how we do backgrounds in movies, which is also photo manipulations, sorry about that :).
back to the size... the green wall on the size travels to the same distance where the girl is standing... so it's as close as the girl at that point at least ;)...

but I loved the idea that u thought its is a painting

these colors helped me to give my idea ( the sadness )
anadf about the girl's size I think it is appropriate here according to the fact that it is closer to the eye scene in this artwork

Nice matte paintings... if you put a breakdown it would make more sense about your efforts... in this one it looks a little too dull.. a little more contrast and playing around with the light values would make it a lot more interesting.. maybe the girl's size is a little too big comparing to the statue and the green wall... cuz it's usually about as high as the waist if I'm not wrong.... keep up the good work :)
